Zhangjiakou, China, OWG project, K120 and K90 – the biggest scope of delivery for TopSpeed/Mana
Whilst one of our teams was in the USA, the second team was held in quarantine in China.
Their goal was the installation of the TopSpeed ice track and landing area at the Olympic Winter Games – OWG 2022 venue. This was by far the biggest scope of delivery so far for our team. Design team worked hard on technical design hand in hand with designers from Tshinghua University in Beijing and were able to come up with a solution that will be presented at the next Olympic Winter Games.
New solutions that were delivered on this project were: protection roof for ski-jumpers, heater for ski-jumpers at starting gates, media gates, and super large garage for ice cutter and some other auxiliary equipment.
