Successful Olympic Ski Jumping Competitions in Predazzo
From 5 to 19 February 2026, Predazzo hosted the Olympic ski jumping competitions. During this period, nine competitions were held on the two hills — four on the normal hill and five on the large hill. In addition to the men’s and women’s ski jumping events, athletes competing in nordic combined also performed at the venue. During these days, Predazzo welcomed top athletes from around the world and became one of the key Olympic venues on snow.
Some of the competitions took place under challenging weather conditions, as rain and snowfall occasionally complicated the preparation of the venue. Despite this, the organizers and technical teams ensured stable conditions for all scheduled events, and the competition program was completed without major disruptions.
During the event period, both hills successfully passed all technical inspections by the delegates of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), confirming that the infrastructure met the requirements for competitions at the highest level. The technical equipment at the venue — including the winch systems, the in-run track milling machine, and the cooling system — operated reliably and without interruption throughout the entire period.
A key factor in the successful execution of the events was the excellent cooperation between the organizing committee and the technical teams working at the venue. Their joint efforts ensured a high standard of hill preparation and fair conditions for all athletes. All technical equipment and external experts supporting the execution of the competitions were provided by TopSpeed company, contributing significantly to the overall performance and reliability of the venue.
Following the successful Olympic competitions, organizers and partners hope that Predazzo will establish itself as one of the regular venues of the Ski Jumping World Cup, welcoming the world’s best jumpers again in future seasons.
