FINALLY – Planica NH and LH get ice in-run track

After more than a decade, the renovation of Planica’s in-run track was long overdue. We are proud to have won the tender for the K90 and K120 ski-jumping hills, reaffirming TopSpeed’s position as a trusted leader in ski-jumping technology.

Unfortunately, the project scope was limited to the in-run track without supporting auxiliary systems. The center opted to retain its existing cooling system and develop its own cutting device. While we hope that the use of non-compatible devices will not compromise the integrity of the track, we remain confident that our high-quality in-run system will perform as expected.

Regardless of these limitations, the renovated in-run track now enables late autumn and early spring jumping, eliminating the constant concerns over snow conditions and fluctuating temperatures. Another step forward for Planica—and another successful installation by TopSpeed!
